 Folks always ask me, "How
in the world does a guy go from playing bass guitar with the Oak Ridge
Boys to producing a TV show on TOC?" OK, here's the scoop. I've been
totally addicted to hunting for over 25 years, and while I was in The
Oaks I simply grew tired of the undeserving "bad guy" image
that the mainstream press had given to the hunter. I decided to do
something about it.
I produced "A
Year in the Life of a Bowhunter" to show, not only who the
hunter is, but all the positive accomplishments that hunters make for our
children, our wildlife and our country.
Within weeks of it's release, "A Year in the Life of a
Bowhunter" became a best seller and attracted the attention of some
folks in TV land.
That's my story and
I'm stickin' to it!

A YEAR IN THE LIFE OF A BOWHUNTER
A very different hunting video, "A Year in the Life of a
Bowhunter" features music, The Oak Ridge Boys, and Dave Watson on
stage, glimpses of life on the road, plus lot's of exciting hunting
footage.
"A Year in the
Life of a Bowhunter" tells the story of hunting in a realistic,
exciting, factual presentation. Dave showcases his hunting skills as well
as ethical hunting behavior as he goes after wild boar, black bear,
pronghorn, whitetail and fallow buck. This video not only shows actual
bow-kills, it emphasizes
hunters as heroes with deep commitments for wildlife conservation and the
importance of getting our young people involved in the outdoors. Also
included in the video are two of Dave's songs, "Call of the
Wild" and "Last Stand in the Rockies" which will provide
inspiration for all outdoorsmen and outdoorswomen.
