of the 25 giants of the archery and bowhunting industry.
Watson brings to the table a wealth of knowledge, expertise
and experiences - as it pertains to the great outdoor arena,
as well as to the world of television and entertainment.
Dave was a professional musician for 18 years and played
guitar for some of the biggest names in country music, including
The Oak Ridge Boys, Lee Greenwood and Shenandoah.
Dave resigned from The Oaks in 1996 to pursue a career in
outdoor television programming. His first series was 'Bushnell's
Secrets of the Hunt' on TNN. "When TNN changed to SPIKE
TV we lost our broadcast in Canada and hundreds of Canadians
have called and e mailed me letting me know they were not
happy about it. Wild TV will finally get us back on air
to our many friends north of the border. I'm determined
to helped this network grow and prosper", states Watson.
According to Ryan
Kohler, Wild TV's Vice President of Marketing, "Bushnell
Outdoors and Track and Trail Adventures are the caliber
of programming we want to present on Wild TV. We are very
proud of our new relationships with respected personalities
like Dave Watson and Wally Dallenbach", Mr. Kohler
said via telephone.
Dave's new series
is "Bushnell Outdoors", sure to be a hit as a
new generation performance of "Bushnell's Secrets of
the Hunt." This show has been designed as programming
that's both enjoyable to watch and educational. Not only
will viewers learn how to be a better hunter but get the
facts and statistics they need to protect the future of
hunting. Of course, whitetail deer is the primary focus
with both gun and bow but "Bushnell Outdoors"
will also feature caribou in Canada and chasing the majestic
kudu in Botswana.
"Track and Trail Adventures with Wally Dallenbach."
Wally Dallenbach, Jr. is the perfect host to get your engines
revving for hunting and fishing adventures around the country,
with a flavor of NASCAR to add to the adventure. Dallenbach
has made a solid name for himself on the race car circuit,
from being a Trans-Am Champion to competing successfully
driving the No. 25 Budweiser car in the Winston Cup series.
While he's at home on the track, he's also very much at
home seeking out trophy bass at Lake Fork or bugling bull
elk in Colorado. Wally and his guests provide an effective
mix of outdoor adventure with a behind the scenes look at
his career in NASCAR.
Both series incorporate state-of-the-art graphics, original
soundtracks and camera techniques normally equated with
professional sports like football and golf. The 60 billion
dollar per year industry of hunting is finally presented
to the TV audience in the utmost professionalism.
